This beautiful city is located at 2400 meters above sea level and the Misti volcano over 5822 meters high. Arequipa known as the White City because most of its houses and buildings are constructed of white ashlar stone and dating from the colonial era surrounded by stunning natural landscapes. Arequipa is the administrative headquarters of mining companies, from where operations are distributed, such as transporting cargo of minerals, transporting fuel, oxygen, spare parts for heavy machinery, transporting mining personnel and much more. Today Arequipa is home of second largest Mining Convention in the world, so our company Rumbo Explora is working to provide to visitors and mining companies private tourist transportation and also excursions.
