DAY 01: JULIACA AIRPORT-PUNO TO ISLA SUASI (Hotel): Hotel Isla Suasi is located 115km from Juliaca airport (2:30hours), 155km from Puno city (3:30hours) and 79km (3:00hours) by boat from Puno city. The access to hotel Isla Suasi by land is from Cambria community. Suasi Island is northeast of Lake Titicaca (Big Lake), it has 43 acres where lies an original lodge which is solar powered. Suasi is a private island where ecological activities is conducted as walking, observation of camelids as vicunas and alpacas, flora and fauna and sport adventures as kayaking. The hotel has 24 rooms of rustic appearance well equipped with lake view, gourmet restaurant with light and candle, steam sauna with eucalyptus leaves, game room, a small nature museum and a private cottage suite (Andean cottage) of 02 rooms on a small private beach. Suasi is a magical Island to disconnect of the world, indeed a perfect place to end or begin a journey in Peru, especially for quiet relaxation, not to mention the novo Andean cuisine prepared with local produce.
